Christian Story Time
Bethany Halverson and Traci Haselhuhn have organized and started a Christian Story Time to be held at 10:00 a.m. every Monday through June. This will be held in the sixth grade classroom, with the nursery next door.

Youth Dates to Remember

" Youth Night every second Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. (K-6) except there will be no Youth Night in June or July.

We will start up again August 1, 2010 with a Pool Party for all youth, three year olds though seniors in high school beginning at 6:15 p.m

INFORMATION IS USED FOR ALL YOUTH ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR.

Youth Groups and Events

Augustana's has ongoing activities for youth of all ages...

Music

The Hallelujah Singers are a youth choir directed by Dave Swenson . Rehearsals are during Sunday School and the choir performs 4-5 times per year during worship. Participants are 3rd through 6th grade.

The Angel Singers are a group of elementary singers directed by Colleen Wrage. They rehearse during Sunday School and perform 4-5 times per year during worship. Participants are three-year-olds through 2nd graders.

The Bell Choir is directed by Lois Downs. The Bell Choir includes Jr. High students through adult. They alternate playing at morning worship services, as well as special performances.

Boy Scouts

Boy Scout Troop 132: Augustana Lutheran Church has sponsored Troop 132 for over 60 years. The Troop participates in monthly campouts and summer camp at Camp Mitigwa. In the near future, the Troop and the church hope to build a garage/storage area on the church property south of the parking lot. For more information, contact scout coordinator, Peter Nelson.

Cub Scout Pack 154: Augustana Lutheran Church has become a recent a sponsor of Pack 154. The youth are in grades 1 through 5.
