Finance Branch

Responsibilities:

• listens to budget requests from other branches and proposing to the Council annually, a budget for a fiscal year;
• provides the Council with a monthly income and expense report; assists the pastor and financial secretary on managing expenditures to maintain ample cash flow;
• advises the Council on the investment of assets and carrying out the will of the Council of investing assets of the congregation;
• assists the Treasurer and Financial Secretary in the preparing of the annual statement as to the income and expenses for the congregational meeting; and
• recommendations for scholarships given to the Council shall supervise the educational scholarships.
